In the midst of planning a wedding great care is taken in every choice one could possibly make. Tee and Daniel had control over their colors – navy, white and tan. Their gorgeous location – on the beach at Jennette’s Pier in Nags Head. Their incredible food – bountiful buckets, brimming with crab legs, oysters, shrimp and potatoes. Their attire – Tee in a gorgeous, simple gown and Daniel in relaxed linen. Everything was checked off. They planned for and had control over every little detail except one huge one – the weather. The morning of their ceremony, whipping winds raced off the ocean and rain splashed down relentlessly. It howled all the way up to 5 minutes before Tee was to walk down the aisle, until out of nowhere, the sun peaked through the dark clouds and a tiny window of time opened up! Tee walked arm in arm with her dad down the beautiful, handmade wooden walkway he had built for her. It was perfect (even though the wind was still so strong that it snatched Tee’s veil off and made her switch sides at the end of the aisle from her blowing dress;). I’ve never witnessed a wedding where more laughs were had and happy tears fell. There were heartfelt speeches and handmade details galore. Daniel couldn’t wipe the beaming grin from his face and Tee’s excitement radiated from her eyes. They are a beautiful couple and I just adore their family! I’ve had have the best time working with them and I hope you enjoy just a few of my favorites from their special day!
